Flyer on my new books released

Office 2007 - flyer Pasadena (1)Pasadena, the most prominent Slovenian publisher of IT-related books, has released a flyer on my new book series entitled With practical examples through, which is being designed and written together with Peter Vre?ar.

Our novel “business-problem-based experiential learning” approach, that we highly successfully use to educate and consult business professionals in Slovene higher education institutions and industrial clients, is now being applied to the new Microsoft 2007 information-worker solutions.

The first book that deals with the whole lot of the Office 2007, is due in beginning of June 2007. With practical examples through Microsoft Project 2007, and another one, With practical examples through Microsoft Access 2007, are due this fall.

Microsoft NT Conference 2007

NTK 2007I have attended the Microsoft NT 2007 Conference, the biggest Slovenian IT-related event. Quite a few interesting presentations about new technologies and services, and many - even more interesting - meetings with the IT professionals and execs of various Slovenian companies. It’s be there or be square I guess. Busy, but fun. Hey, that’s what it’s all about :)

ICTs and Innovation - Paper Accepted for Research-Technology Management

Research-Technology ManagementThe harvest from the I4I research project is indeed rich. Our paper, Opening up Innovation through Information-Communication Technologies has been accepted for publication in Research-Technology Management. The authors of the paper are: Yukika Awazu, Bentley College, USA; Peter Baloh, University of Ljubljana, SLOVENIA; Kevin C. Desouza, University of Washington, USA; Christoph H. Wecht, BGW Management Advisory Group, SWITZERLAND; Jeffrey Kim, University of Washington, USA; Sanjeev Jha, University of Illinois at Chicago, USA.

This is already the second paper we got accepted for publication in this journal. The Customer-driven innovation paper (authors: Desouza, Awazu, Jha, Dombrowski, Papagari, Baloh, Kim), is namely forthcoming in the next issue of the Research-Technology Management journal!
