Going places (part 1) … UK …
Next week I am off to the IFIP 8.6 conference in Manchester, UK. Been invited to present my research at the doctoral consortium which is mentored by distinguised faculty led by Prof Bob Galliers, plus, am presenting a paper entitled Attaining organisational innovation – better smart than fast, which was coauthored by me and Dr Maria Burke of 6*RAE IRIS at Salford Uni. IFIP 8.6 is a highly relevant conf for me as the WG deals with diffusion, adoption and implementation of information and communication technologies in contemporary organizational settings.
Loads of meetings already scheduled, and many more to happen ad-hoc both on personal and professional basis. No doubt a great opportunity to get feedback on the current research and brainstorm on future possibilities, not to mention, to network. Opportunities abound, as always :)
